I never made it to a beach, close, but they wanted $7 a person for a small stretch of sand!! I love sunshine too, there has been too little of it over in my part of WI this summer. It really never felt like summer yet! Faythe @ GrammyMouseTails
I love the beach, but we were only able to go once this summer. I swear, it was the rainiest and coldest summer we have ever had. We even bought a ton of new beach gear because we planned on going a lot this year. Such a disappointment! Hopefully next year will be much better!
I'm not a beachie person. That's the last place I would be in the summertime. We were fortunate to visit dear friends in Florida in March. It was super cool to be on the Gulf coast to watch the sunset - totally amazing! But, if I were a beachie kind of person, then the things that would most interest me would be strolling along the water's edge, feeling my toes in the sand, photographing, & watching the sun rise/set. Good T2Q!
Hi, we did not make it to the beach this year. We went to Carowinds and Charlotte, NC instead. I love all the nature centers and specialized museums that are in Charolotte. My kids loved the roller coastes and the day at Carowinds. :)
Summer is almost over and I have not been able to do go to the beach yet so I cannot share anything at this moment. But I am reliving the happy memories of my summer last year in the Philippines where I went surfing for the first time. I love it and I want to do it again.
I carefully avoid the sun having sun damaged skin and following doctor's orders but who doesn't love sunny days? Thank goodness for shade and sunscreen.
Lovely summer shots! Thanks for hosting.

ReplyDeleteYes, on the 4th of July but it hasn't been the warmest summer for the upper Midwest. Visiting from Wordless Wednesday link-up.
